For the last 50 years, Global Petroleum Show has experienced significant transformation alongside the evolving industry. The event has adapted to provide a bigger and better platform for key industry players to gather and engage in dialogue that reflects the state of the energy industry from pipeline disputes and rising oil prices, to environmental trends and geopolitical issues around the world.
In 2018, GPS launched an inaugural three-day technical and business conference led by the GPS Executive & Technical Committees, comprised of over 55 industry leaders. The conference created a platform for conversations around critical issues including the important role of Indigenous groups, responsible hydrocarbon production and disruptive technologies.
In 2019 over 600 conference delegates from around the world will continue this legacy and engage in dynamic discussions regarding peak oil prices, oil shortage uncertainty, surging shale oil production, pipeline expansion and the need for greater market access. Seminars will explore the demand for transformative business models and technologies such as blockchain, artificial intelligence and deep machine learning facilitated by some of the industry’s most accomplished thinkers and innovators.
